Project Hadea

You play as an OPERATIVE of Scytha Industries, a highly selective private security company. As their most elite Operative, you possess many skills and talents, not to mention top-of-the-line equipment - including your very own AI module, IVI.

This, of course, puts a price on your head. An AI module goes for billions on the black market; carrying one around in your skull is, perhaps, not the safest idea. Sure, you’re more than a match for anyone who might come after you - but no-one outside the high levels of Scytha knows about it, so you should be safe anyway, right?

Wrong.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Project Hadea is an interactive, text-based scifi story, written in Twine. This game is rated 18+, for explicit sex, swearing, violence... all that good stuff.

OHHHHHH I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! IT'S SOOOO GOOOOD <3

was coming to see if there’s any word on an update then saw the comments are an absolute fucking cluster. wouldn’t even blame the author if they ghosted atp.

need more Joia bonding scenes !!

(1 edit)

Honestly with all the criticisms in the comments I was expecting more of a bite to this IF lol

Overall I like it I actually think the companions can be quite nice in their own ways despite reading comments saying their only mean - like Nash off the bat is a sweetheart - in the beginning Leanna is just trying to work things out in the moment to survive so she comes off as "harsh" but literally right after Rohan is being a prick (which they fully send him off as to break off the tension) she comes to the MC and directly shows cares for how they feel

The alien (sorry can't remember their name) is stand offish but it's shown they clearly have a good heart 1) because their being hunted/exiled from their kind and 2) they show a clear care for joia's whole being and they even explain their reasoning for not trusting us at the start which the MC shares mutually back because their an alien lol

I like Rohan as a character I think he's the foil to the MC and it could be the Luka alien stage lover in me but I like that bit of toxicity - I recall seeing a comment asking why anyone would ever romance him and its the same reason people play IF where you can be a murderer/villain - and as a sidenote I felt like the whole "surgery" and forced tranquilizer was way more traumatizing then the intercourse (but maybe its diff if you dont choose to sleep with rohan I'll have to see)

I love your story so much , I am currently replaying. Again.

I missed this whole ordeal regarding the outrage some have 'cause of Rohan and the content warnings and such and am...kinda confused. Everything that happens in this story was properly warned of? Well, but I get that the way the MC is treated can be triggering for certain people -especially cause its kinda easy to forget that the MC is indeed first and foremost a dubious character -not by choice I guess, but its still there. In my second playthrough where I played a kinda kind MC I was kinda confused, too -kept forgetting the background of this person 😂 one isn't suddenly a good person just because Joia bought some specks of kindness to the surface of the MCs deformed soul 🫠

My favorite thing in this IF ist how...deep the trauma of the MC is. Well written. It's not the typical way a person with trauma is depicted and I LOVE it! It's such a treat to read ❤️

Im so invested, even after all this time!

In a sea of interactive fiction this one is imprinted in my mind while many others tend to disappear in the background after one playthrough.

Congrats to that, its not easy to achieve and definately sth to be proud of.

You are doing great, I really appreciate how you handled the harsh accusations in one of the other comments on here. Respect, its certainly not easy to handle a triggered person with trauma -and thats a compliment coming from someone that works daily with deeply traumatized people.

I am so intrigued how your story will progress ✨ Can't wait for the update 🥰

I love Joia she's my daughter I only had Joia for a day and a half but if anything happened to her I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.

The content warning should include rape, not just the word assault.

This was a rough read, and I don’t usually go out of my way to make comments like this, but I think the sensitive nature of this subject matter can so easily be mishandled and it’s important to talk about it. If I had to hazard a guess I’d say that the WIP might benefit from some additional/ more varied sensitivity readers.

Everyone seems to inexplicably single out the MC, patronising and antagonising them, or making inappropriate quips, meanwhile the MC is forced into, not only proximity, but conversation with their smug rapist multiple times.

To each their own, but I cannot begin to fathom how this route would turn into a relationship of any kind. The MC can barely stand or see straight, but it’s apparently a necessary part of Rohan’s development to come back for seconds and needle their victim? That's pretty gross for a character that we’re supposed to grow to understand. What more do they want, a kidney? There is no plausible way a character like this can be redeemed.

I thought we would get to know more about the protagonist, and I’m disappointed there’s been no deeper insight into their motivations or their past. As far as I can tell, the MC is almost exclusively reactive; excluding the violent removal of a character, they have yet to make much of an impact on the plot.

Any expression of anguish or anger is undermined, ridiculed, or judged by both the characters and the writing. If you choose to confront your rapist there’s multiple pages describing how pathetic and pained they look, and everyone treats you, exclusively, with extreme prejudice. And I get it, there needs to be a restriction on full throttle violence in order to get the character interactions rolling, but satisfactory dialogue options are very sparse.

I found that many of the standard responses were odd, the tone and dialogue frequently undermining anything approaching a somber or sensitive depiction of darker themes or trauma. I don’t want to start arguments, I don’t want to be sassy and waggle my eyebrows, or giggle at a joke, I’m dead inside Nash. MC doesn’t even get a moment to themselves to sit with their feelings or cry. And the reader doesn't get any insight into what’s going on with their psychology. It’s like they're a blank slate.

On the other hand, if you wanted to play as the hardened character type, there’s a distinct lack of options to be callous, aloof, or calculating. I'd take cynical, gallows humour over letting everyone know how I'm feeling at any given time. MC’s tumultuous emotions are (embarrassingly) on full display at all times, the scenes constantly serving up our innards as fodder for the other characters to react to with either amusement or irritation. It’s so frequent that it starts to feel like a cheap shortcut to character interaction, and just made me resent not only my own character, but everyone else for acting like insufferable vultures. Is this what serves as entertainment in space? Don’t they have anything else going on? (Playing a game of cards with a rapist maybe?)

I don’t know if I’ve missed something, or was in an outraged haze, but I’ve had minimal interactions with the other characters, and struggle to remember anything about them (apart from the nice moment where K gives the MC a jacket, a pretty much isolated act of non-intrusive kindness). The relationships feel like they haven't even begun, despite the time we’ve spent in close proximity with the group. My impression of the time spent on the ship so far is the MC just wandering from room to room, contemplating their physical discomfort whilst being intensely scrutinised by everyone they occupy space with. Ironically, the only relationship that feels like it evolves in any capacity is with Rohan, for “better” or worse (STOP watching me dude). Nash is just sort of there, a vaguely judgemental room divider.

As for Nash, they’re perhaps one of the only people who might be in our corner, yet when the MC first wakes up, after they ask how we're doing, ‘good guy’ Nash’s next inclination is to indulge their petty jealousy over their crush getting intimate with someone else, never mind that it was actually rape! Thanks mate 👍🏻

Not to mention, if the MC is the best operative on offer, what are the rest like? Will the MC ever best their second arch-nemesis: hard surfaces? Despite being a highly trained agent, they spend virtually every interaction on the back foot, unable to school their expression or suppress their emotions, let alone demonstrate skill or expertise (except when K said I did a good job tightening a pipe or whatever, thanks K 👍🏻).

They've yet to have a chance to demonstrate their capability at all, kicking off with a bad streak right from get go, and are further reduced to a stumbling, raw nerve of a person. Which, ok, fine, I can roll with the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, but I was constantly left wondering why, despite a lifetime of training, brutality, depersonalisation etc., there is so little to show for it? Would their experiences not have desensitised them somewhat, or provided interesting mechanisms to fall back on? I wanted to know more! Instead it’s like the character is experiencing the world afresh, without any internal context or history for the reader to grip onto. The one moment where my MC pulled their head out of their ass and said something to smooth things over with the pick up crew was so uncharacteristically practical that I had to re-read to it to confirm it was actually me speaking. I was gnawing at the bars of my enclosure to experience some shred of cool-action-agent content at least once, or to say something stinging or observant at least once.

I do wish the MC had more opportunities to flex their skills and force of will, but the one time the reader gets any modicum of sweet catharsis is when you pull a trigger/ throw a punch, something anyone could do, and which is swiftly followed by a narrative slap on the wrist for being a meanie (not in front of the CHILDREN! :O) and 15 pages of “look what you’ve done they’re still bleeding :( now they’re scared of you“ Ok? Good? What reason have I been given to care about what any of them think of me?

It's frustrating that there’s no hard edge to the character and their thoughts, and no grey area to occupy for any length of time as a reader. There’s a punishing undercurrent of persecution to everything, and some of the writing is positively indulgent in its attempts to make you feel like a piece of crap, page after page, the message couldn’t be any clearer. I felt like I was reading the historical account of a villain’s life, as written by an evangelical monk. There’s a lack of context for the reader, subtle or otherwise, to bridge this huge chasm between how we view the MC and how the other characters view them. I suspect it isn't intentional, but it felt like I was playing a fallen character in a morality play, just waiting for some big moral lesson to rear its head, except I haven’t even had the personal pleasure of sinning yet.

Can't a girl have some villainous fun before being condemned to a life of atonement? :(

Lastly, I never signed up to be a spy-parent, so no stern talking-to necessary K, you can have ‘em, congrats on becoming a father! I’ll be paying my child support in kidneys. Also, sweetie, don’t hang out with the rapist.

Excellent comment, you touched on so many of my same thoughts and feelings, especially this part: "Any expression of anguish or anger is undermined, ridiculed, or judged by both the characters and the writing.". You should leave this as a review if you haven't already!

I know it's been stated by the author that it's supposed to be that way with all the other characters being wary of a MC (a stranger to them) who acts anything less than cordial but as a reader it's absolutely miserable and there's no reprieve at all. And the text itself doesn't offer any consolation either, making it feel less like just the characters' reactions to being in a stressful situation with a potentially volatile stranger, and more like active punishment for not being accepting of the extremely violent assault inflicted upon them and being forced to play nice in close proximity with their assaulter. That assaulter, meanwhile, seems to get much more consideration which just feels so... bad.

Also I have to say the fact that the reactions are more or less the same even if you DO act cordial, not making threats just trying to deal with the situation after going through something truly horrible, makes me feel like there's supposed to be a "canon" route where the MC acts unhinged no matter what. Otherwise it really doesn't mesh well how everyone acts like the MC is a bomb about to explode and if they so much as step one foot out of line everyone's calling a code red.

And yes, I know it was also previously stated that Rohan isn't really a rapist even if you chose for the MC to be intimate with them before being physically violated, but I have always been under the impression that sexual activity under false pretences (e.g. lying about your identity) does count as rape, I guess that's just my personal opinion. Even in the route without being intimate with them, there does seem to be a clear parallel with rape (à la the scene in the 2014 Maleficent movie in which her wings are taken), being left unconscious outside on the street with a piece missing... And to be honest, even if there were no parallel, it's just so violent and violating that picturing and feeling the aftermath where the MC just has to carry on and isn't allowed to show an ounce of hurt or anger without being treated like they're indiscriminately hysterical left me feeling queasier than the scene itself.

(20 edits) (+10)(-10)

I like your reference to Maleficent; it’s definitely a violation of more than one kind. I don’t know what else there is to say, I only wish it was handled better.

As for player agency, I definitely think there’s a way to make the reader feel understood and seen, whilst still communicating that the main character is in an unfamiliar and helpless headspace.

You’re right on the mark about the ‘canon’ MC feeling; I played it both angry (super unsatisfying with the exception of one choice), and then tried the more defeated/ cooperative options and was trying to put my finger on why the choices and outcomes weren’t jelling no matter what I did. I came away confused or resentful after every interaction.

If I’m playing a character that’s a “skilled infiltrator”, who is calm and unassuming, who didn’t brandish a weapon, then what about her would be so intimidating that everyone consistently turns on her? What would warrant immediate suspicion about a young woman saving a girl from the rubble and getting onto the last transport they can find? What about her would make other characters comfortable being witness to a man gloating about assaulting her? Why am I always getting the stink eye? Am I wearing a “make killing great again” company baseball cap or something??

In retrospect, it feels like there’s a broader perspective that’s missing from the writing, which makes it less interactive and accessible imo.

One question for you.

In your country, if you pick up a one night stand in a bar and in the morning they steal your wallet, can you get them charged with rape? Legally?

Because you can't in my country. In all the legal definitions I have found it mentions not consenting or being unable to consent (drunk, minor etc). Ulterior motives don't seem to be enough to legally charge someone who had consensual sex with rape. Is it different in your country?

I'm asking this because it already has a warning for "sex under false pretense", which is exactly what happens...

(3 edits) (+9)(-9)

Rape isn’t just defined as a sexually violent act.

I didn’t come here in the interest of discussing what constitutes rape or a victim (which has little to do with any given country’s laws anyway), but since your question is easy to answer, here are the results of a cursory google search:

Rape by deception, also known as rape by fraud, is a crime that occurs when someone deceives a victim into having sex by making false claims. The victim would not have consented to the sexual act if they had not been deceived. Rape by deception is recognised in the laws of many jurisdictions, including the UK and the US.

(-3)

This would not classify as rape by deception.

"[Codename] looks like they are about to drop dead-"

Damn- Thanks for that

(+3)(-1)

Have a great day!

(+1)

You too!

(+31)

i really love the ability to just straight up kill Rohan. like, i absolutely hate their entire character and don't give a shit about any of their justifications (not a criticism of the game, to be clear. they're well enough written)

the fact they're a love interest would mean, in most cases of this type of game, that the MC would be expected to just forget what Rohan did and what happened, so i was pleasantly surprised when the option came up to murder them.

i understand this is probably not the good choice, but it just feels way more real to me than any other option would be, like forgiving them or letting them live.

i guess what i'm saying is i like the option to be an angry, vengeful person. it's a pleasant change from some other games like this, and is very satisfying as a gameplay experience.

(+9)(-2)

Personally, I very much enjoyed the ability to hate them, to hit them, etc., and then let them live, because like. Nobody would expect you to forgive someone who cut off your arm.

It's one of those things where I find the 'I hate your guts and in any other circumstance I wouldn't tolerate you' dynamic so interesting. But other things matter more to my MC in this case, and they don't want to just be the big scary murderer.

(+9)

yeah, i get that, but i probably didn't word my point as well as i should have, cause like, it's not exactly about the killing of rohan per-se.

like yeah, hitting them but letting them live is cool and all, but the ability to remove them from the story by killing them is what i really appreciate.

i guess what im saying is the praise im giving the story is more structural than plot based.

again, though, totally valid. i think that i said in my earlier comment that killing them is probably the wrong decision.

also sorry if this reply is weird, i like talking about this and felt like clarifying, but i get you might not have wanted or expected a response, so sorry bout that.

(+7)(-1)

Oh, no, I got what you were saying entirely. It's the power of that choice - the fact that your character can be so hurt and not even be unjustified in it - and thus altering the trajectory of the story forever.

(+4)

oh yeah, exactly

guess I was the one who didn't get your point then, lol

(+12)(-2)

i love this so much I'm going to implode

spoilers if you haven't gotten to the ends yet :33!!!

I enjoy the idea that our MC gets the choice to go absolute batshit fucking crazy when Nash gets shot, the protective instincts are SREAMING. (i would also go batshit insane if my best friend/crush got shot)

(+2)(-1)

OMG I LOVE THIS SMMM!!! I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER OMG-

(+2)(-1)

I absolutely love this!! It's super interesting and I love the story line!

(1 edit) (+13)(-20)

*MILD SPOILERS* idk it happens in chapter one.

but i feels like rohan is written to be female or nb. i chose for them to be male. and they still ask if i'll walk 'a gal' home. and are then mad that me (a woman) thinks he (a man) should be able to get himself home on his own. if anything he should be offering to walk me home.

also if you do the sex scene it felt very much like they were the girl. or playing the female part? idk maybe i'm explaining it badly. like they are sitting on the dresser while we're making out, and then they straddle you on the bed. definitely less of a big deal (not comment worthy). but it did feel strange.

(+38)(-6)

thats their gnc swag

(+3)(-1)

'Walk a gal home' is sort of a phrase. Not really meant to be taken literally. Hope this helps.

(1 edit) (+14)(-7)

honestly kind of agree with this. also, weren't we inebriated beforehand, and therefore unable to give proper consent?

edit: i feel that i should clarify my thoughts on this. while i can see where croi is coming from, as a victim myself, i also think that because this is a wip, of course things will be imperfect. i personally found no huge issues with the pacing, only that we don't currently have a chance to expand upon this entire experience in project hadea. perhaps that's coming up in the future? anyways, i'm very sorry for sparking a debate by replying to an old comment.

croi, i hope you're doing well! i'm sorry that you've also had bad experiences. if you ever need someone to reach out to, i'm more than happy to give you some support! please take good care of yourself :)

nyehilism, i love this wip. it's intense and dark and tumultuous, and that's shown perfectly in rohan's character. was it cool of him to perform very unlawful and improper surgery on us while drunk/post-sex? no. does it make him a very interesting character with motives that i want to learn more about? absolutely. i look forward to future updates! ^^

(+1)(-27)

I imagine all the people not liking my comment probably haven't been fucking raped or molested or forced into anything that scars their souls. I have. You can all go fuck yourselves with your judgment. PROJECT HADEA WRITER MAYBE YOU SHOULD CLARIFY YOUR STANCE ON THIS?! Are you okay with people essentially vote bullying someone for standing up against rape?

(+45)(-4)

since you've demanded a response from me, here it is: this is not appropriate behaviour. you don't know me. you don't know my life, or the lives of anyone who's reacted to this comment. it's not appropriate for you to make these assumptions and take those feelings out on me and other readers like this. if you want to discuss this, you can approach me respectfully and politely.

I'm very sorry my game has brought up traumatic memories, but this is not the place for these kinds of comments, and for your own mental health I'd suggest not playing. the content warnings are there to allow you to make your own decisions about whether or not this game is for you, and if it's something you know will bring up trauma, it's best to avoid. I'm not interested in an extended discussion about rape, especially not in a public forum: further comments in this tone will be deleted.

(+6)

this is soo goodd!!! thanks for making this!! that chapter five cliffhanger is killing me omg those choices are painful

(+3)

this game is really really awesome. I hope it will be continued :)

(+4)(-1)

I am truly every so grateful I found this masterpiece. It's just too great. The world building and storytelling is simply stellar. You have no idea how many times I caught my breath quickens, because of the anticipation while reading. The tensions, the frustrations, the feelings were truly raw... it was written splendidly.

Spoiler.

There was this part for Kiha's path in the other ship... I laughed so hard that was brilliant.

Of course I will replay and see other paths.. I am so seated for this. You are such a talented writer omg.

Also, I noticed a little typo here for your attention! Rocks bite as your knees as you drop...

Anyways. I feel like the best part about this whole masterpiece is the imagery. I'm not good with the body hurt parts, but you wrote it so well that I could imagine everything. Feels deep to my bones. Dang. Thank god I don't have to experience all that for real.

(1 edit) (+7)(-18)

Without offending can I just ask what the sex of the nbs are?

Bloody brilliant, my favourite is Captain Lee. Can't wait for more.

(1 edit) (+4)(-9)

why are ppl disliking your comment lol

(+3)(-15)

Because apparently it's offensive to want to know what an ROs gender is even if they go by NB.

(+5)(-6)

Is this because you need to know about this so you can form a physical fantasy in your head? I don't necessarily feel either way about your question. More than anything I am curious about why it is important to you.

(+3)(-15)

I only romance women, so I tend to steer clear from NBs unless I know their gender.

(+11)(-5)

I see. So do you mean sex or gender? Because they are different.

(+13)(-7)

Honestly that response to me indicates that you are interested in women. why are you trying to force gender on a character without gender? I'm a cis queer woman so maybe my viewpoint could do with input from people of other genders and representations, but I do believe being non binary means you don't feel you are either or any gender. So pursuing the gender of a non gendered character doesn't make sense. It just feels like you're trying to force a gender on them.
I think perhaps, this what other people might be inferring and that is why they do not like your comment.  Im not psychic though, I'm not always the best at understanding some topics but I am trying. I don't mean to be insulting or argumentative either. I seek an understanding of motivations, social knowledge and academic knowledge

(5 edits) (+10)(-6)

You are asking for their SEX not their GENDER. They are non-binary which means that even IF they were assigned female at birth (afab) they are not a woman.

And yes it is rather offensive because demanding to know their sex makes it seem like you think that genitals are more important than how they identify. Which is gross. I hope you don't treat real people like this.

(2 edits) (+1)(-1)

As much as I want to agree.  I can kinda understand where their coming from.   I've been on the other end as well, of being judged for anatomy over gender so I know it sucks.  But even I have things that turn me off and on of the physical side of things reguardless of the gender of the person.  And I don't see how being disrespectful of that is any better than being disrespectful of someone's true gender or sexual orientation.

Personally I may be more mentally flexable with the gender of a person.  More about personality for me.  But no matter how much I might wish otherwise.  When it comes to physical nature, I can not just on a whim, change the fact that some female parts turn me off.  I don't like that it is that way, but it is what it is.

I find myself also not sure how to imagine Noah, and I hope whenever/if our characters do get to be with them physically in story, it will be writen in a way that can be flexible to imagination at least.

(4 edits) (-1)

"And I don't see how being disrespectful of that is any better than being disrespectful of someone's true gender or sexual orientation."

Given that demanding to know a non-binary person's downstairs mixup is patently rude and can be triggering for people with body disphoria, yeah it is pretty different.

For me it's a constant reminder that I will never escape the body I was stuck with and that it will always define me in some way despite my wishes. So like, yeah, seeing shit like that fucking sucks.

(+7)(-3)

This is one of my absolute FAVVVORITE Wips, the writing the achievements are SOO satisfying I literally cannot wait for more updates I'm shaking this is so good 😭

(+2)

Can you maybe make it possible to install with itch.io? Most of the if's I play can be installed on the app and it makes it way easier. Also I love your story and characters :)

(+4)(-2)

i feel like i should get like three more achievements for horrible taste. i am still unfortunately in love with rohan, despite his everything

I thought I was the only insane one 😭😭

(+4)(-1)

This is absolutely amazing!!

The number of possible outcomes is so impressive and provides a lot of cool replayability, and 5 chapters feels like a blessing. The writing is also really good, and I really like how diverse the cast of characters are. Not too many that I lose track, but enough to give a lot of different interactions and conversations.

The characters feel so alive too, I've grown to like all of them and am especially attached to Joia (of course) and unexpectedly for me, Rhaxa? And Rohan gives me such intensely conflicted feelings of irritation that I can't help but appreciate her character all the more, even with the number of times she's stabbed my MC in the back.

Thank you for making this! Patiently awaiting the next chapter 😊

(1 edit) (+4)

This is so good omg! I will replay this as many times as I have to, to get that Besties achievement. Joia my little angel, we will be besties. I have died trying, so nothin is goin to stop me 😭🤧✊🏾

(+4)

thank youu<3 the besties achievement isn't actually achievable yet so don't die! it'll be in there soon💕 there's an achievement guide here which mentions which ones are achievable thus far, but be aware of spoilers:)

(+2)

Wow I'm so stupid, lmao...let's just pretend that I didn't spend the last few hours trying to get that achievement 💀😂 But hey, at least I got to play through every possible combination of choices and it was amazing to see the different outcomes! Thank you so much for your hard work! 💞

(+1)

I saw the guide and found "Reach and Flexibility" which reminded me of certain dialogue lines from Garrus Vakarian of Mass Effect. Was that a reference or a coincidence? XD

(+1)

that's a reference! there's a few scifi refs in there haha<3

(+1)

I don't know if it's on purpose, but this doesn't seem to work with the itch app

What's the total word count as of now?

(+1)

I think it's around 390k words! not 100% sure, but that's my guess:)

(+6)(-1)

Nahhh you can't do this to me. Can't leave me on this cliffhanger... :crying: another AMAZING update. Love ya...

(+7)(-1)

Also, I just have to mention cos it definitely deserves it's own post and to be mentioned - our MC is fecking awesome. THIS is how you write an MC!
Can't wait to see more of our MC kicking the universe's ass, proving just why they were chosen as the operative to receive IVI, and of course taking their revenge on Scytha (with or without IVI, tho I do like having her about!).
Also, Joia (btw, how do you pronounce her name?) is a sweetie. Hope we continue to bond with her (maybe even adopt her in the far future), tho I know it will take time considering her trauma and likely trust issues. I really like the Found Family trope, especially with a tough, egotistical, selfish MC having to explore the side of themselves they've been distinctly ignoring. lol

Fantastic update - I've played this game to death since I first came across it, so every new update is a blessing. Love Rohan. Very intrigued about this new alien!

Figured I'd mention a bug. Okay, a bug AND something that I found a bit weird. If you choose to contact Scytha instead of Rohan's "person", when you come onboard Lance scans all the ID's, then you get a video call from the Director, right? Well there's a bug where, if you didn't kill Rohan (like in my case), and you lie to the director and say you did, MC will recall Rohan's dead body in the text as if he'd killed him, when Rohan is actually fine and well and on the ship.
The other thing I found really weird was speaking about Rohan with the Director after lying about killing him, she describes what he look like, etc. However, considering this is the director, and Lance literally just scanned Rohan's ID when he came on board, AND found IVI with him, surely the lie would completely fail as she'd already know Rohan was on the ship? I mean, the Director would surely have already been informed, by Lance, of the fact that someone who was NOT a Scytha operative had IVI in their possession, and the ID of that individual was that of Rohan. Unless Rohan is using a fake ID, which is pretty probable (although the MC could probably speculate or come to that conclusion, to make it clear to the player), but that still wouldn't stop the Director from being informed of, and wanting to know the reason for, IVI being in the possession of someone in your entourage, rather than in your head.

Anyway, on tenterhooks for what comes next. More sexual tension with Rohan, and maybe some payoff for it? :D

so - something I could definitely make clearer in the writing - the Project is a sub-operation within Scytha, and a lot of the wider company aren't aware of it. Lance wouldn't have clearance to know about specific projects, especially not one like Hadea, so he wouldn't know IVI exists - all he knows is that Rohan's got something high-tech and shady and xe's cagey about what it is. as far as he's concerned, his job is to take you all into custody. and yes, Rohan's very much using a fake ID👀

as for the dead body bug, I'll try to hunt that down, thank you! and I'm glad you enjoyed the game<3

I like it, but I have some questions.

In the chapter 4, if you decide to call to your organization and lie about R, you describe R's name and appearance in details. Is that a bug or that's what suppose to happen?

Also, if you get a "vaccine shot", you get an "Unexpected token" error.

yes, that's supposed to happen - if you killed Rohan and lied about it, there's no reason to lie about xir appearance; if you left xem alive and lied about it, the operative is basically fishing for information about xem from the director, and not really planning ahead.

Thanks for the reply.

The update was fantastic!  I cannot wait for more!  One thing I did notice is when coming back to the shuttle after choosing not to go after the sniper the text seemed a bit confused.  Came back with Ki-Ha and Joia but then the next page had me asking where they were.  And when asking where Raxha was on the page after that the response to that question was "yes we should get Skylar..."

Spoilers below! Probably....and might be a long ass comment sooo prepare yourselves!

First of all, i enjoyed the update a lot , your writing is great like always, and i enjoy reading it a lot.

I enjoyed the scenes with Rhaxa a lot, whether i chose to be a dick or not, and found interacting with him very amusing.

I really enjoyed how you made keeping R alive rewarding, by making them suffer, and Nash gained a lot of points in my book for using them as bait! And R Can bet their butt I'm not taking pity on them in the slightest.      I tried to be nice to them but it didn't sit well with pretty much any fiber of my being......guess I'm not the forgiving type of person.....oh well!!!👀

And all the bravado R keeps, telling us to kill them, seemed to have gone out the window but that's understandable, what isn't is them thinking that Nash would care enough about their safety, considering they ruined their friends life and possibly ended it, along with theirs no matter who we choose to call.

And I'm starting to believe more and more that IVI might have become a permanent part of our fooked up brain, in an attempt to stay sentient? Or to stop her self from being separated from us by R. Either that or we're having phantom feelings and are too used to having her in our heads

Oh and i found a typo, after the choice to lunge at R when we get on the ship at the last few, it says "more to more" i forgot what was being said to be honest....

In conclusion great update, and keep up the great work bud!👍👀

GOD DAMN IT. CLIFF HANGERS. WE GET CRUMBS OF PAIN AND SUFFERING AND THEN WE GET A CLIFF HANGER. I HATE IT HERE. (I don’t I love this If I’m just way too emotionally invested at this point.)

The ROs are Nash, Rohan, Leanna, Ki-Ha, Rhaxa, and Imxa (who hasn't been introduced yet - she appears in the coming update!). Leanna is only romanceable by female or nonbinary operatives, and Ki-Ha is only romanceable by male operatives :)
